Usefull

I initially gave this a 1 star review as it wouldn't rename my files. My problem was not trusting it so I moved the files out of the main folder and tried to use some of the custom settings. That didn't work. Once I just went for it and used the gopro folder directly from the media card, it sort of works appropriately. I use the movies only setting and very basic renaming structure and it works. It does append a "_x" to all files and i can't get it to not do this so there is still manual bulk renaming to do from the Finder window. Overall it's worth $1.99 because gopros proprietary naming system is garbage.

I actually might stay with GoPro now

I was literally ready to throw my GoPro's out the window with how frustrating it is to organize files for long recording sessions and in literally less than 30 seconds I renamed over 6 hours of footage in chronological order. This $2 app saved me hours of organization and frustration. So glad I found this.

Sometimes the app is fickle and will hang after pressing Start, but I can't tell if that's an Apple Silicon thing or an app issue. Seems to have to do with how I have spaces or underscores in the file names. If that would be fixed it'd be 5 stars from me.

Easy to get GoPro files organized

Simple and effective. Drag your GoPro video folder into the app, select options, and result is your video files 1) sorted by each recording session and 2) renamed in the order they were created. Also tags the first file of each recording session with a color dot. Save a lot of time and frustration using this app. It's worth a few bucks!
