NetWorker Pro shows network information conveniently in the menu bar. It also features a window that shows additional information about the currently active network adapter.
NetWorker Pro features:

Very Useful APP
This app has proven very helpful in managing network traffic and billing. My only complaint is a trivial one, but I would prefer the download speed to be indicated on the bottom of the overview graph with the upload at the top, up and down, otherwise his a really great app and serves us very well...
