In addition of Highlighting words you can click on a word to start reading from this point on. You also can export the to an audio file, change speed and use Keyboard for Pause/Play.

I was using speechify, which has more features, but is also consistently the most buggy app I've ever used, and also has predatory price gouging. So I switched to this and I'm happy.
