Prisma’s gorgeous pictures are almost too cool for words, but if we had to pick one to describe our 2016 iPhone App of the Year, it’d be “sublime”. Powerful AI re-creates our photos as breathtaking images that really look hand-painted, complete with natural textures and stylish, spontaneous strokes. The only thing more fun than experimenting with the effects is showing off the results to our friends.

Lifetime option

This app is brilliant. I love it and use it most days. I wish I could buy a lifetime option, that gives me more choices than the free version, for my lifetime. It would not need to have as many options as the monthly or annual subscription options. I would be happy to pay up to $70 Aus for such a lifetime subscription option, which is more than I have ever paid for a lifetime subscription in any other app. This shows how enthusiastic I am about this app.

Great app with one dumb design

This is an app with interesting creative potential. However there’s one major flaw: when you change the background you cannot change the size of your subject but only the background pic. This means that if I have a vertical 4:3 pic with character in the middle then I want to change the background, there’s no way I can make a good composition that allows me to crop it into 1:1 later for social media portrait use. I can enlarge my original pic to 1:1 but after doing so the app won’t detect the subject anymore thus I cannot change the background. What a fatal flaw for a great app like this. Please update this!
