The Libraries NI app makes it quick and easy to access libraries on the go! Search Libraries NI’s catalog, download items, manage your account, and find suggested reading instantly with your iOS device.
Top Features
• Search the Libraries NI catalog: Search for items by title, author, subject, or general keyword and place holds on interesting items.
• Manage your account: Keep track of your account with dynamic notifications and view your checked-out items, holds, fines, and account information.
• Search by barcode: Use your device’s camera to scan the barcode on a book, CD, DVD, or other item at a friend’s house or bookstore and search for available copies within Libraries NI.

Finally!
Great to have an app for this with the ability to renew books via your phone. I have two children's cards linked to my name and it would be great to be able to see their loans on my account or log in as them to enable me to find all the family's books before a library visit. Hopefully this will come with updates!
Rubbish! No longer works!
Used to be a great app, sorry ‘good’ app, only feature it required was to be able to filter results by library I.e you should be able to see if a title or books by a certain author are currently available in your library … however all it no says, when a search is performed, is ‘catalogue provider unavailable’… basically you can no longer search the available books across the N.I. Libraries
First impressions
Seems like it does what you'd expect, and much easier to use on a phone than the clunky website.
The ability to switch account would be nice. As a family my wife and I manage our daughter's account and at the minute it's a lot of hard work to log out and in again.
