Description

- Fix a crash during scanning corrupt files
- Change defaults to enable haptics
Changing the defaults only affects new installations. Make sure to check out the Input settings for haptics to turn on vibrations on key presses. Enjoy!
Ratings and Reviews
(Retro) Game Changer
Can’t quite believe we have RetroArch on iOS. I’ve been using it on & off for years on various platforms (PC, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck) with varying results. I’m now trying it on a 5th generation iPad Pro with a wired PS5 controller. The iOS version just seems to work exactly as I wish the other platforms had - no set-up issues (bar one timing fix), easy to get games working and assign controller buttons, great range of slang shaders (I’m using "crt-geom-deluxe" with default values and HDR). I’ve been trying out my favourite vertical monitor coin-ops I grew-up with in the early 1980s (Scramble, The Pit, Time Pilot, Kangaroo, Bomb Jack, Traverse USA, Circus Charlie etc.), they all worked really well and looked great on the iPad Pro in portrait mode. Been so impressed I haven’t yet got around to trying my favourite computers & consoles (Atari VCS, C64, Amiga, SNES).
Literally a Dream Come True!
This was the emulator that I was most anticipating once Apple changed their App Store policy. It allows for so much customization (like scaling the output to perfectly fill the screen on an iPad Pro). It’s also light years ahead of every other N64 emulator on iOS. One big positive thing that I’m also seeing from the dev team is that they have been very quick to patch bugs since this went live on the App Store. Thanks!
