Every time I launch it with alarm on apple watch, it asks me to open the phone and launch it on the phone as well. Every night. It wasn’t like this before, happens for the last 1-2 months now

Hello! Pillow's latest versions require that you keep Pillow open on your iPhone before initiating a sleep session on the Apple Watch for stability purposes. We are aware that this temporary requirement is somewhat troublesome and our development team is already working on alternative solutions. As soon as progress has been achieved, this restriction will be lifted. In the meantime, to start a sleep session on the Apple Watch, please: 1. Open Pillow on your iPhone and do not press any buttons 2. Open Pillow on your Apple Watch 3. Scroll to the top to view the alarm picker and tap on the time to access the alarm setup dialog 4. When you are ready to start a sleep session. Tap on "Start" 5. Please make sure to lock the screen only after a sleep session has started on your iPhone to avoid unexpected shutdown of the app during the night. Just to clarify, Pillow on the Apple Watch should require the iPhone only if you try to start a sleep session with either of the following options checked: 1. "Sound recordings" 2. "iPhone Speaker". These two options use the iPhone so connectivity is required in order to start a sleep session. Once the sleep session starts, you can lock your iPhone and place it on the bed-stand. No Way to Decline the Trial — Frustrating Experience

At first, the app seemed convenient and useful — everything worked smoothly. But then, out of nowhere, a full-screen message popped up: “Pillow Premium — Your 7-day trial. Today is the first day of your trial”. The most frustrating part? There’s no way to decline the offer. No “X” to close it, no cancel button — just the option to pay and continue.It’s been a year, and nothing has changed. The same intrusive screen keeps appearing, and there’s still no way to opt out and continue using the free features.What’s even more confusing is that my husband has the exact same version of Pillow on his iPhone, and he’s never encountered this issue. His app works without ever forcing the trial or blocking access to basic features.Other apps offer similar trials, but they always provide a clear choice — you can decline the offer and still use the app. Not here.Even if I delete the app and reinstall it, the cycle repeats: it works for a while, and then that same fullscreen subscription prompt returns — with no way to bypass it.It’s really disappointing that the developers chose to aggressively push the premium version without respecting users’ freedom to choose. This used to be a helpful app, but this approach completely ruins the experience. I hope they reconsider and add a proper way to decline the trial, like most other apps do.

- Pillow's UI has a received a refresh with streamlined look and feel throughout the app and support for iOS 26 Liquid Glass - Various UI adjustments and fixes for the Apple Watch app. - Fixed an issue that could cause a minor discrepancy in the reported heart rate values between the iPhone and the Apple Watch under certain circumstances.
