This extension helps ease your eyes with dark mode for websites that do not support it by default. It is extremely useful if you have an eye condition or working in a low light environment, making the browsing experience more comfortable. This dark reader extension also comes with the auto enable function, that will change the dark mode to related website on specific time ( 8PM to 7AM the next day ) You can also set the preferred configuration in the application so the Safari extension will reflect it. You can also turn the extension off with a single click! Privacy policy: We built the application with privacy as the first priority, no data is ever collected from your browsing experience. The prompt to access the website is only to alter its source code to enable dark mode.

This is a very nice software of dark mode on safari, which seems to use the technique of reversing colour of the webpage to form a dark appearance. However, it will conflict with the built-in dark mode by webpage such as google.com. So I suggest the developer to add in a detection mechanism for built-in dark mode of webpages in later updates.

This would be great if it didn’t conflict with built-in dark mode options like on Google. I had to uninstall it because I could not stand the white background it kept causing with Google.

It will bring you to choose the color option in the end, then you find you cannot make a selection whatsoever and the webpage shows nothing change
