Not Bad

The app it’s self is great! I like how it looks, I love the idea and for practice it really is great! However, I just wish they had better songs. Now I know this app is new. When I heard about it a year ago it wasn’t even on the App Store so I know it is really new! I just wish they had songs that I really could sing to. New songs. Scales would also be really great. As a music student, scales would really wish they had scales. Because this app is great for choral students, but there aren’t enough song options yet. I hope thy add some more soon!

Disappointed

I’m a career professional in theatre and musical theatre who’s never been able to sight read. So an app like this is essential to learn parts, especially for auditions. Unfortunately it just doesn’t work as well as it should. My pdfs are clean perfectly scanned Musica pages. And the app just can’t read all the notes. I tried it with a song I know particularly well. One part, no harmony, just the lead vocal line. And not all the notes make it into the finished file after the app scans it. Therefore I canceled my membership and I’ll be on the lookout for an app that does this better. I know this app was created by pros like me, for pro like me, and I appreciate the effort and glad I could send some money your way to support you. But this just doesn’t work yet. I’ve used it on Jule Stein music (relatively easy) and Sondheim (very complicated). Same results each time. If the app ever persons as advertised please do let me know. Thank you genuinely for the effort.

Almost Great

I’m not sure about others, but I’ve had issues with not all the notes on music I import (either via camera or uploaded file) being correct. 90 plus percent is great, but wrong notes are jarring and don’t help with practice. If we had an interface for being able to review and correct the translated notes, this app would be phenomenal. But for now I still find myself going back to a piano to plunk out my line so that all the notes can be correct.

I’ll be thrilled to see this functionality in an update, or to be informed it’s an option I’ve somehow overlooked. Getting my music to 100% correct so I can practice it all would be worth five stars, a renewed subscription, and more!
