WTB Business Digital Banking 4+

I much prefer the other WTB app, but business clients had to move to this one. Originally I reported that you couldn’t save transaction views but WTB reached out and told me how, I saved a view and this app is more usable now but still difficult considering you have to scroll left to right to see the full transaction information. I use plenty of other bank apps, none of which make me scroll left to right for anything.

In the app, I tapped on Help and it’s not responsive for mobile so you can hardly read the helpful advice. I wish this app was more like the other WTB app, or that I could go back to using the other one. I try to stick with viewing accounts on my laptop only now, and have the app on my phone just in case.

Washington trust bank is great to work with, and the personal banking app is great. The Business Digital Banking app is awful and doesn’t work for me as a small business owner who is on the go. iPhone 14 Pro with the latest iOS and app version.
Issues:
- logging in. It feels like pulling a slot machine lever. I am never sure when it’s going to work or make me type everything in again. Face ID doesn’t really seem to do anything. When I use Face ID, I get the verification check mark and the processing indicator, a few screen changes later, I’m back at the login screen with my info cleared.
-UX. The whole app is a resized version of the web site, which is also bad and missing the creature comforts of WA Trust personal banking.

This new app and their corresponding website is the cheapest looking, most user UNFRIENDLY, and poorly designed website/app I have ever experienced. The old one was great and intuitive. The new version is absolutely horrible, to the degree that I now must look to transfer everything to a different bank.
