I just moved into a new apartment and had a lot of empty cardboard boxes and IKEA flatpack packaging that I needed to get rid of. The local borough council wouldn’t take any of it away and had left it outside my house. When I got home late at 11pm, I took a photo, found the app, and within three minutes had arranged for someone to come and pick it up the next morning at 6am. The guy came around and picked it all up whilst I was fast asleep - such a fantastic idea, flawlessly executed. I’ll definitely be telling my friends about it!
Problems with reviews and reliability
In my experience, Two out of three helpers were unreliable. First one didn’t show up, the second messaged me to say he won’t make it but didn’t cancel the job. The third one was very well I should say.
I think there are a few flaws in the app: first, the reviews can be given only to those who completed the job, which induces a selection bias. Failure to show up or cancelling last minute cannot be reflected by the user review. Second, even when the helper connects to say they won’t show up (or try to force your hand to reschedule the job) as an advertiser you cannot cancel the job to seek for someone else. You need to wait until the job pick up time is reached and job not done. Now, it’s true that you can reach the help centre and they can cancel the job for you, but there’s no guarantee for a quick turnaround (I believe the expectation is 24hr).Also, why shouldn’t I have the flexibility to move on to find someone else, when I know for a fact the job won’t be delivered. Finally, in my case the estimated/recommended job cost was about 15% higher than the market rate. Though I’m not too bothered by that, something to keep in mind if you would like to advertise.
On the upside, help centre is fast -and indeed helpful. There are many helpers on the app which gives quick response time.

Please try to update the app now, many of the things you mentioned have just been implemented by a project we have been working on for months! :)
(Able to rate users at all times, able to change rating afterwards, able to give feedback when rating, better statistic overview, able to report users etc)

Great idea, way too many flaws.
It’s not very practical if you need to book a move.
You can post your listing with details and people can offer their services but you can’t contact them individually before actually
Choosing someone. You may just end up wasting your time by choosing someone who will then never get back to you and your stuff won’t get collected, but the app will be blocking your money and won’t let you cancel! Only the other (enquiring) person can cancel, which is quite unfair if they haven’t answered your messages for 6-7-8 hours and you are left in a limbo.
Customer services also never responded to my last email, which was quite disappointing.
Very good idea behind the app but needs to be a bit more sophisticated.
To the developer: thank you for responding. I find it very unfair that I can’t change my mind. For instance, I have advertised a piece of furniture and someone applied to collect. I then selected them, but the person hasn’t replied to my messages and I cannot know if they still intend to collect. I have had people requesting the furniture on other websites (which I’m offering for FREE) whom I’d now like to give it to as they are being RESPONSIVE, but I can’t cancel the pick up!!! Very unfair for those giving stuff away too. Something to really take into consideration on your side.

Hi! Thank you for the feedback! We decided to keep contact closed until someone is selected to make sure everything is kept in the app and that only the relevant contact will be made. You as an advertiser can cancel after the time runs out while the helping user can cancel at any time, we are looking to see how we can improve here. I will forward your feedback to the team! :)
