GammaBoost® lets you explore the potential anti-Alzheimer's effects of timed exposure to a 40 flashes-per-second light source, utilizing your smartphone's "flash" LED, and 40 cycles-per-second audio tone from your smartphone's speaker. The app was developed in response to animal studies by the National Institute on Aging and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which show that viewing a light that flashes in this “gamma” brainwave frequency range can diminish the beta amyloid plaques associated with Alzheimer's and thereby prevent or lessen the effects of Alzheimer's disease and memory loss. Other studies have indicated that an audio tone at this same frequency might also be effective. The app is intended for those who are suffering, as well as proactive individuals who feel at risk. As a proactive measure for everyone, and as potential help for those already suffering, daily GammaBoost® usage offers new hope.
