Finally, a banking app that’s great.

Everyone and their dogs are pushing their customers to use e-Statements, but I only see e-Statements as a tool for charging extra. But DBS is able to show everyone electronic banking can actually do more than just replacing paper-based banking, it gives you extra information in the app for your transactions and it’s a game changer.

Not very user-friendly even starting from log-in process

The log-in screen doesn’t allow me to paste my password copied from e-notepad to fill in my password. OK, then I tried to type my password but the app only allowed me to input the full password in one go! If I swapped to the e-notepad to see my long password after typing a few characters, this app just wiped all my previous typed characters and required me to type from the password all over again. In a digital era, I really can’t believe that this app would expect users to write down their long / randomized strong password on a paper first before trying to log in this app! I guess I may use Face ID for log in after changing the settings but the very first attempt of inputting password above already made me feeling stupid.

I heard and read about this platform but never pay attention to it until I have to redeem a flight.
