Too Good To Go: End Food Waste 4+

This app is amazing! I only have good things to say about it: from the interface and ease of use, to its environmentally-conscious ethos, to the value it provides for customers. By charging such low prices for end of day goods, everyone wins. As a customer, I get to try foods from places I might not have gone before for a low price and sample what they have, while also getting great value on some of my favourite spots. Once you are happy to experiment and to perhaps wait to eat at more off-peak times, you can really reap the benefits of this app. It’s also a great guilt-free way to treat yourself! I hope that even more businesses sign up as it becomes better known, but even as it stands there is something for everyone.

Honestly, what a great idea. I’ve only ever gotten 1 box and I know from friends certain shops can be hit or miss, but wow. We got a box from Aldi for €3.99 and the amount of things we got was amazing. We got frozen pizzas, a loaf of bread, clonakilty sausages, 3 salads, 2 types of veg, pasta salad, the precooked lamb dinner for 2, and a head of broccoli. I’m impressed. There’s not deals in every store every day, so you have to check a few times a week before you might see something you’re interested in, but that’s fine with me. We got a great deal and nothing went to waste.
