High Interest however the app is kind of slow

I love that tonik bank app has easy verification, deposit and withdraw process. They also have higher interest rates and time deposit for only 6 months. However I am reading a lot of their review in Facebook page and it seems like many are dissatisfied as they are having issues with the verification specially if they don’t have complete requirements, and slow transfer of money when they top up or withdraw. I hope these issues will be addressed by Tonik Bank so we will feel more secure to continue to deposit our hard earned money

When something isn't quite right with the verification documents, our system and security partner flags this because we really do keep a premium on account security. Competitive savings products but VERY slow customer support

Great product but VERY slow customer service. Despite being available “24/7” the resolution is not immediate. My recent pain point with them was the pull-up for updating personal information. It’s not easy to update or change employment types. The live chat took 10 mins just for me to request the change only to be given a TICKET NUMBER. It has been more than 14 days, I’ve followed up via email and it’s still processing. If you will put a pop-up that’s disrupting me from being able to access my account you should also be prompt in updating my account once I’ve provided the necessary info as part of your KYC/BSP compliance. Please improve on that aspect of your service.

Dropping my rating by another star. Sent a follow-up and was still not given a resolution. They mentioned they’re receiving a lot of verifications. But waiting beyond 14 days is unacceptable. I have never encountered a bank that doesn't provide access to one’s account even after being given the necessary documents. I asked if I can just close my account and move my funds out. Ironic that it’s easier to close an account than be provided access so you can top-up your deposit. So frustrating!

If you want to earn more with your savings, TONIK is for you

Been using Tonik since May, and I think Tonik is better than other banking apps currently in the app store. Made an account in less than 5 minutes, and I deposited in my account the next day. Its easier and more fun to save money with this bank considering the interest rates they offer. They offer free cash-in when you connect your BPI account (which is what I mainly use for topping up). Also, their in-app customer service is easily accessible either chat or call. No need to wait for long queues using your telephone just to ask a question. I’m excited for what Tonik would offer next since their current products are quite promising considering that they have only been around for about a year.
