Bugs after recent updates

I love chess and personally this is my favourite app but after the recent updates there are certain bugs which have led me to lose plenty of my rating. Once the opponent plays their move my timer will still keep going and I can’t make my move until the time runs out out and I lose the game either because of abandonment or time insufficiency. Please do something about it!!

Hello! Gaining hundreds of thousands of new players each week has posed some technical challenges for us during this chess boom, but we're on top of it! We have JUST released another update with major improvements to prevent freezing or issues on the clock. Please download it from the AppStore, and let us know in a updated review if you experience any further problems during games. We're here to help! :)

I love chess and personally this is my favourite app but after the recent updates there are certain bugs which have led me to lose plenty of my rating. Once the opponent plays their move my timer will still keep going and I can’t make my move until the time runs out out and I lose the game either because of abandonment or time insufficiency. Please do something about it!!

Amazing app, but there is 3 issues.

1. Lack of takeback requests:You cannot request a takeback to your opponent. This is extremely annoying whenever you have an issue on the apps side or of your phone.2. Lack of Classical and major time controls:There is no Classical rating option. I suppose this is because it would be extremely slow to gain rating this way, so I feel that the points should be increased to at least 15 points for a win, and at some points for a draw, even if the players are equal rating. Often times when I need to prepare for a real-life tournament, I find myself going to other Chess website because of the time controls they offer. 45|45 is too less when I am trying to prepare for a 90|30 tournament. 3. Clunky UI:The UI is not very sleek or intuitive. I feel like a simpler, darker UI should be added with the menu animations being different. We should have the option of using the old one as well if we want.I hope you guys see this, I have been a paying player for a while, so It would be nice.

After all, members' feedback are what drive changes to the app!Related to takeback requests, don't forget you can enable the option "Confirm each move" in Settings--Live Chess. That way you can make a move on the board and confirm it with a checkmark, or you can tap the X to take back the move.Classical time formats are not very popular in online games, which is part of the reason there is not a preset time such as 90|30 on the app. However if more members request this, it may be added in the future!If you have suggestions for us on how the interface could be more sleek and intuitive, please let us know! Rated puzzle problems

Whenever i play my rated puzzles sometimes when i get it correct it tells me my internet connection was lost, and if i exit and play it again its all right. It always does that whenever i get puzzle right not when i get it wrong. Sometimes when i do one wrong move my rating drops all the way down to zero even though my ratings 1430~. And then when i quit the app and come back its all right. Everything else is fine but i would like to play my puzzles.

Chess is a game which was played by royal people. I accidentally learned how to play it. My cousin forced me to do it. And from then on I have played chess almost every day. This is the best app ever. I currently have not come across any type of negative thing about this app. Thy is chess app has everything. From lessons to game review it covers every single category which helps you get good at this game.
