Fuzzy: Online Vet Care & Rx 4+

This app is such a great help and a nice thing to have daily access to! I live LA and even them being in San Francisco they’re such a big help for common questions and (during the app’s working hours) alert questions to ask it’s great! I always rave to all my friends with pets about this app! The app’s chat person is actually a vet or vet assistant, so they can give you an educated answer to you question, personally for my cats health. It’s really nice for them to be free, because I can’t afford to see the vet more than every other year. So I can ask them questions about why is my cat attacking my other cat lately or how often should I be feeding my two cats to how can I change this particular behavior. I use to ask other veterinarian questions to google but always find up in the air answers because google/articles don’t know what exact cat I have & age. They’ve really helped me when I couldn’t go to the vet about what to do when my cat had an issue that wasn’t an issue, and that saved me $70 of a vet visit of them saying that my cat’s eating half of his food habits were okay.

My cat has a UTI, which happens frequently. I really didn’t have time to drop everything to take him to our usual vet right now so I thought this would be a good solution. I did the chat with a vet tech and was told I would need to have a video consult with a vet. Ok fine. Then I was told the wait time was 6-8 hours! It was 7pm my local time so I asked if I could schedule an appointment for the morning. Nope, they don’t do appointments, you just have to sit around for hours with your cat and wait for them to connect with you. I was told the wait might be shorter in the morning and to try then. This morning I had to go to work but with no way to know how long the wait is, I got onto the chat and made sure I was in line. I figured by the time the wait was over I would be home. I asked how long the wait was. It was only then that I was told I needed to make sure I had my cat with me and that the vet would connect when possible. I asked again how long the wait was and was then told I was next in line. I said I didn’t have my cat with me because I had to go work and I was under the impression that the wait time was really long. Well I can’t leave work to go get my cat when you can’t give me any consistent idea of how long the wait is and you don’t schedule any appointments! I just got a refund and called my regular vet. Totally a waste of time. Just schedule appointments for people!!

Fuzzy is by far the best vet experience I've ever had!! I was unhappy with my cat Thea's original veterinary and was referred to Fuzzy by a coworker. And it's been nothing but a brilliant experience! Her vet team was patient and kind during her first visit! They took the time to play with her in between vaccinations and procedures, and they seemed to genuinely care for her! It is just such a well run and executed service! If you message them they response extremely quick! I think the longest wait for a response was 5 minutes!! It's basically having a knowledgeable, professional vet in your pocket! Such a great service and I'd recommend it to anyone with a pet! In my opinion it's harder finding a vet comfortable with cats over dogs, and fuzzy was amazing with my kitty! She can be feisty but they gave her treats and snuggles to the point where I don't even think she knew it was a vet visit haha! 12/10 would recommend them!!
