Better than Duolingo
This is a good app. We tried Duolingo before and it was okay but not very fun. We had to make our son do it. With Buddy, he wants to do it. When he gets up early, my wife lets him use the iPad and play in his room. More learning for him and sleep for us! It’s been two months now and he’s still using it. Sometimes we do it with him and then ask questions after to see if he remembers the words. He usually does. That’s the main reason we are happy.

Soon my kids may teach me English
Buddy is the best. My children like Buddy but they are three years apart so they like different things about it. The younger one just likes talking to Buddy while the other one plays the games. I’m glad they are both learning. I’ve been taking English classes for a few years and I try to teach them what I learn but they needed something more. Soon, they may teach me!

Best language app for children
Buddy is the best English as a Foreign Language learning App for children. Both my daughters, 8 and 3 years old, love it. The coolest feature is that children learn English by talking with an interactive virtual character. It is like a mix of Siri with Tamagotchi and Duolingo. You can also compare this app with online schools, where children learn to speak English with live teachers over Zoom.
