dayzz is an end-to-end sleep program which kicks off with learning your sleep patterns, triaging and tailoring a personalized sleep plan to help you maintain your sleep quality over time.
The dayzz app is based on clinical protocols to help you cope with troubles falling asleep and staying asleep, extend your sleep duration and even support those who have already been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and find it difficult to adhere to their CPAP mask. New protocols are added with every new version of the app to help everyone improve their sleep.

How does it work?
1. Get a sleep assessment. Complete our clinically validated sleep questionnaire and help us learn about your sleep and lifestyle habits. Based on your answers and with the help of our smart algorithm, we assess your sleep and give you a personal sleep report.
2. Get a personalized plan. Follow your dynamic timeline, where your customized challenges are displayed. As you progress, your sleep plan will adapt to your specific sleep needs.
3. Enjoy a helping hand. Get the right kind of support at the right time and place, and enjoy a smart mix of tips and reminders. Our human sleep trainers are happy to hear about your sleep experience or answer any questions you may have.

Ratings and Reviews
The user interface is good as is fact that it’s completely free. The app is beautiful to look at. However, it is very limited and at times not realistic. You cannot proceed on the training if you cannot dim your lights because it is light coming from outside and you don’t have the money to re-construct your house, or if you cannot tolerate the sleep mask pressing your eyeballs scraping across your face all night and the sound of your heart racing when you put ear plugs on. It would be great if it provided alternative options and if there was a suggestion that was not helpful to individual situations it would be nice to be able to opt out of it without penalty. The app also is recommending that I sleep three hours a night for the training week which is just not practical especially since I have already been sleep deprived for some time and I need to be sleeping at least six hours to be able to be productive and safely drive the amount that I have to. My doctor also recommends that I sleep at least 10 hours a night due to my medical issues and I do not see this app working up to my recommended amount. It would be great if the app could be more customizable to various situations and if it provided a plan that the user could adjust to their needs.
Just started, but slowly changing my routines for the better
Very calming app, a bit difficult to navigate at first, but like how I can work on 4 small steps daily and set reinforcing reminders. Wasn’t actively palling on using a lifestyle app but testing this out makes me want to make a habit out of it

I’ve been trying numerous apps to help develop better sleep habits. SO many of them are based on “subscription fees” - I delete those without even giving them a try! I was happy to find that DAYZZ is really free AND, so far, appears to have an effective strategy for helping me make the changes I need. I’m just getting started with it, but initial impression is great; I’ll report back on how it works out after I sync my Fitbit and use it for a while.
