These are pros:
- Lower matches the first $1,000 towards the closing cost
- Interactive and easy to use
- User friendly

These are the cons:
- If for any reason you deposit the money into the HomeCash and do not close with Lower you will forfeit your money
- You must link your bank account to be able to deposit the money. The settings stated that you will be able to make a tranfer using your bank, ACH; but it does not provide an account number or/and routing number to accomplish it
- If you are already working with a Lower lender agent, he/she does not know if you deposit the money until you upload a screen shot of the deposit into your folder since there is not a direct link.
- Once you deposited the money, you will get a call from a lender agent asking what you will be planning to do with that money. The app should use your personal information to verify that you are already in the process to purchase/refinance a house and notified the lender agent

I am pleasantly surprised at how stress free my entire experience as a first time homebuyers as with this company… the app not only made it easy for me to save money for the down payment but Lower’s savings match truly helped with closing costs. I love simplicity, and this is app did not disappoint. Not only could I easily set up a recurring deposit to help with savings, but when you open an account they will also match dollar-for-dollar (up to $1000) that you can use towards closing costs. When shopping for a mortgage I primarily look for 3 things: 1) best rate possible 2) low closing costs 2) streamlined application process. Lower and this app certainly fulfilled those 3 things, so I’m very satisfied with my experience
