Beautiful graphics!

The graphics are really beautiful! Since learning is the objective, it would be nice to see more interactive elements that don’t involve getting a trophy. Also I’m not sure who the intended audience is, but as someone who stopped biology as soon as I had the chance in high school, this jumped a few levels. Perhaps it would help to have beginner, intermediate and advanced levels in subsequent developments. Overall, I do really love it and definitely learned a lot! Also if you could have multiple random scenarios or something so each time the player plays, they do a different kind of repair or adventure, that would be fun! If you haven’t already, I’d suggest looking to Carmen Sandiego and Cluefinders type of games for more ideas.

Runs Great on iPad!

I just played the current version and it’s sooo cool! I love the graphics and the puzzles. It’s kind of a cross between biology and anime and steampunk, which makes it fun to play and fun to learn from. Can’t wait to see the next chapter….

Cool Idea, bad delivery

To be fair I haven’t played very far in because the game constantly crashes on my iPad; but I was really hoping it would deliver, so I kept trying. So far it’s really quite boring. Great concept for sure, brilliant colors and shapes but the animation when in game play ultimately feels primitive, which can sometimes be fine, but I haven’t been able to get far enough in to capture much of a story. I’ll check back after it’s been out a while and give it another fair shot to see if the story is worth the odd gameplay. I truly hope it gets better!

Developer Response ,

Hi there! Thank you so much for trying the game, and we're very sorry you had a frustrating experience. You must have caught us around the first week of beta testing when we were having some pretty heavy technical difficulties. It should be running smoothly now, so feel free to give it another go!
We should also add that we are scientists, not professional game designers, and put this out as a passion project - so while it may not be as flashy as a AAA game, we hope it gets people excited about science all the same :)
