Here is what i will say about match. I have been on for a few months now and my matches and search result have stayed basically the same. I have sent out maybe 100 messages with zero replies, mostly because they were just never read. Most of the profiles were created, had one photo uploaded and abandoned and now are 80 percent of the search results. I feel i have waisted my time and money on this service because they do nothing to actually help you find someone. This part is STRICTLY OPINION BASED.... i have received likes and a couple messages from a number of people but most of the girls i find to be active are far from what i find attractive and mostly overweight. The quality of the people on here and the quality of the site, ESPECIALLY for the price is NOT WORTH IT!!! I’ve had better results from FREE sites even though most girls on those are just looking to chat and never meet, which again is why i expected much more for a paid site. E-HARMONY at least helps you find a match instead of asking for more money to show your profile to more people on a site you ALREADY PAID FOR!!!
“Unable to locate your account”
I downloaded the app and purchased a month subscription to Match last week. Within the few few days of having the account. I woke up one morning and my account was logged out on my app. So I tried to login and it said that my password was incorrect, I tried again and no luck. So I hit the reset password link and waited for the email that never came. I tried again later that day and the next day. No email. I submit a support ticket to customer service and give them my info. They email me back and say they cannot find my account. I send them screenshots of my charge through Apple, an email notification of a message in my account and all of the information they requested. And of course they say “Unfortunately, I'm having trouble tracking down your account based on the information I have.” So I send more information, I check spam folders, I jump through all the hoops they requested and I am concerned that someone hacked my account. Meanwhile it seems like they are not concerned at all about this issue and are unwilling to provide any explanation as to what methods they have tried to find my account or concern over a potential hacking.
I requested them to refund my money since I literally only used the app for 3 days and they said I need to contact Apple. So I submitted a customer care request and I hope that Apple will refund my $45 charge for a service I never received.
I would never recommend Match to anyone. Ever.

Been a member on and off for a few years. The app used to be great. It really was! But now they have switched it to where you can not delete emails and some other notifications you receive from the app. They just sit there piling up. Why on earth would your do that? Many of the emails/contacts you get are fake profiles (scammers) that are painfully/obviously fake and yet their staff don’t catch them when the profiles are approved. Once I identify a fake profile and notify them, they will discontinue their profile. However, the scammers emails sit in your email box and can not be deleted in the app even after they have been deemed to be a fake profile. They should be allowed to be deleted from the app. Take a look at the ratings you are now receiving Match. Things need to change. Also smoking choices need to be moved to one of the top things listed so you do not have to click on every single persons page to see if they are a smoker! 2.?? Average for an app with as many people as you serve? Not doing well for minimum $20-25 a month and sometime quite a bit more depending on the package you buy. Used to love you guys. Also. Most dating apps sites will allow some interaction with each other for non paying members who want to test out the app before buying. Match has the worst options for non paying members. You can hardly do or see anything anyone sends you. Hope things get better soon!
