Great idea

I have been on this app for a couple of months. It’s really a great idea for those intimidated by public speaking or unconfident in interviews. It’s a good way to practice on your own. It has some really good tips and found the “impromptu speaking” section most helpful, with “engaging an audience” also helpful. However I’m mainly using this for practicing interview/and impromptu work speaking. I don’t know how accurate the AI is that provides feedback but either way you are practicing speaking which can only help. I appreciate the interview questions that can be used as prompts for practice but I think there could be a lot more content dedicated to interviewing. Some of it is a bit repetitive (you will get the same posture and breathing tips before every single speaking exercise) and I think an entire section related to calming/nervous and inclusive speaking is a little much -these are relevant for everyday life but they don’t teach anything related to how to be a better speaker. I find they are just repetitive things I’ve learned elsewhere already. I generally think there could be alot more useful content on speaking and wish that would be prioritized.

Finding My Authentic Voice

I'm incredibly impressed by this app and the variety of exercises it offers! While I consider myself to be a decent public speaker and I don't use the app daily, it has still helped me build confidence and discover and fine-tune my own voice when communicating with others. I work in healthcare and speak with patients and their loved ones every day. If I know I'm about to have a difficult conversation about a patient's diagnosis or the death of a loved one, Speeko helps me warm up and coaches me away from my anxiety and into a voice that is authentic, genuine, and human-centered. That is what I love about Speeko. It's not about speaking perfectly. It's about speaking in our authentic voice to connect with the people around us. I hope more people can discover this app and use it as a tool for speaking authentically during those important moments in our lives.P.S. The exercises are fun and silly in themselves and the graphics are incredibly cute. Kudos to the developers and their hard work!

Finding My Authentic Voice

Speeko is a great tool for me, but I can also see it being a great tool for anyone who lacks confidence in public speaking or is simply looking to improve their speaking skills, due to its personalized features.As I start applying for jobs, the app offers a variety of questions that help me practice interviewing more confidently. Not only do I benefit from the personalized courses, but through the coaching section, I also discovered articles and practices on speaking and grammar that I never realized could improve my confidence and abilities, even if it is a minor difference. For instance, the coaching section on “speaking with your eyes” is something I would never have deemed to be impactful in a conversation. I look forward to continuing to use this app to reflect on my speaking skills and learn new techniques to boost my confidence.

This is probably my favorite app I have ever downloaded! I literally use it every day, and I love going back and listening to old recordings to hear the progress I have made. My favorite part of the app is the Random Topic generator because it forces you to think fast, and allows you to review your results every two minutes, so that you can instantly apply what you should be doing better in the next speech. To the developers:First off... well done. Second, it would be cool if the performance review metrics had a number attached to them. I like to really dive into the reviews to figure out what I can be doing better, and it would be nice if they had an exact score. Then with those scores, you could have a number tracking your overall growth. Just a thought, but at the end of the day, great app.
