Wisely resolved the issue

I was a regular user of Agoda and today I used to book for my guest and unfortunately the guest name was not changed and it was booked under my name. And I contacted with the customer care service and the booking partner neither allow to amend the guest name or refund the amount and I compelled to book again under the actual guest. After two days Agoda has been rewarded the full booking value as Agoda cash which I can use for upcoming bookings. I am super happy the way they resolved my concern, though initially I was frustrated, and I will be using this platform for all my future bookings.

Do not download, do not use their services

You cannot present a service, with a certain level, and when the customer finds it nowhere close to that, you refuse to refund them.

As a customer you expect as it was presented to you, basically, to get what you paid for, I had the misfortune of having to deal with Agoda Custome Service...

I booked a hotel, based on my needs, primarily, location and cleanliness... and I only got the location, but the location of a stable not a hotel, dirty mold rooms, which is of course not Agoda's mistake at this point but rather the hotel's...

I took pictures and videos of the place, left the hotel without staying, got in touch with agoda and sent them all evidence that the establishment is nowhere close to what they show on their website and of course I requested for a full refund.

at first, they offered 15% saying this is the max that we can give you back on agodacash, I refused saying that I cannot be insulted like that, I want full refund.

then, they offered 15% but on my CC, which I refused, then they offered 50% agodacash, I still refused, then 50% on my Credit Card, after having spoken the with CEO they said XD joking they said they contacted the highest level of their administration and they approved 50% back on my credit card, but I said go to hell with 100% but I will make sure nobody that I know or myself will ever have to deal with you.

If I could rate this App zero, I would have. I made my first booking a week back for my family who’ll be in transit for a day here in Dubai coming from another trip. When I made the reservation, the site says it is inclusive of breakfast, but when I doublechecked the booking confirmation after I’ve paid for it, it’s now saying breakfast is not included! I tried to call the hotel and they confirmed it’s a “room-only” booking made by Agoda through another channel! Now I am trying to reach their call center to complain and I am on hold for 37 minutes and counting (I am still on hold as I write this). False advertising and horrible customer support just doesn’t cut it, Agoda! People, make your booking with another app, don’t waste your time here.

Update: I was on hold for an hour and nobody ever picked up the call and I just decided to drop the call.
