Airbnb 4+

The whole purpose of Airbnb is to have a home away from home but it’s loosing its essence as now big companies are taking over it especially I felt this in my recent trip to Budapest. They present it as a home but it’s just their business, they have several apartments, rooms and showcasing as if they live their or it’s just their apartment. But because of this the real people for whom Airbnb was made is lost. Especially in Budapest I didn’t like my stay. There was no personal touch to it. I would have rather booked in a hotel. And one more thing in Airbnb bnb means bed and breakfast there was no provision of breakfast in any of my stay in Budapest.
My stay in Prague was much better. Though it’s also commercial but there were a lot of personal touches to it which made my stay their happy.

I wrote a review about a listing I stayed at for fee days in Dubai and had no rules violated in the review, it was totally expressing the things we faced inside the property and was related to actually dangerous damages in electricity that the host did not fix for many days, and that could cause fire, or even direct electricity shock to us inside the house. and just to make sure actually I really had reports and evidence about all that damages and Airbnb actually offered us a replacement after few days because they saw it was bad. The shocking thing is that Airbnb team removed my review and refused to give me a report of why they did that, it was total unfair to the next costumers who would not know what they will face because Airbnb team removes negative reviews about this company because the company have many listings they put it on Airbnb!!!!
I requested a report or explanation why my review was deleted and they just said it’s removed and that’s it and just I should forget it simply!
I don’t trust now Airbnb reviews anymore, specially about listings whose owners have listed many properties on Airbnb
