Description
The AudioKey 2 mobile app from MED-EL can be used as a remote control for supported MED-EL audio processors which are SONNET (EAS), SONNET 2 (EAS), and RONDO 3. Additionally, AudioKey 2 lets you customize personal settings, such as the names of programs on the audio processors. AudioKey 2 can be used by caregivers to support other
users, such as young children. You can use the Find My Processor functionality to help locate lost or misplaced audio processors. AudioKey 2 also lets you check the usage statistics of the connected audio processors and quickly access helpful support material from MED-EL. If you own a MED-EL AudioStream device, you can configure it with AudioKey 2.

Very complicated connection
App informing that Bluetooth is not turned on when it is. Can’t connect directly with processor but needs mini remote control that can’t be hooked or looped. Easy to loose it.
Once connected it Can stream only incoming calls, but not YouTube, hearing apps etc.
Med-El needs to really work on this as I heard Cochlear has better and more straightforward easy to connect and stream Bluetooth.

Dear 'Shopper', thanks for your review. Our latest generation of audio processors is equipped with Bluetooth Low Energy and can be connected directly to a smartphone. Direct audio streaming of not only phone calls but music, videos, etc. is also possible via AudioStream and AudioLink (by using the Audio2Ear app).
