Baraka markets itself as a beginner-friendly platform, but I don’t think that’s true at all. The UI is fine, but the app itself is full of bugs, making even the simplest tasks difficult. Depositing money is straightforward, but when it comes to withdrawing funds, the process is painfully slow. You have to go through unnecessary steps, and customer support is rarely helpful. Additionally, the educational content is quite basic, so if you are serious about investing, you’ll need to look elsewhere for proper guidance.
Why does it take so long to execute trades?

The concept of Baraka is good, but in reality, it’s frustrating to use. Trade execution speeds are slow, customer service is unresponsive, and the app is filled with glitches. One of the biggest issues I’ve faced is with the auto-invest feature—it doesn’t work consistently, and I’ve had situations where scheduled investments didn’t go through properly. I also dislike how difficult it is to withdraw funds. It’s not as simple as other platforms, which is a red flag for me. Overall, it’s just not a reliable choice for serious investors.

Good App with Room for Improvement

The app competes well with the likes of US and EU inverting apps but still lacks in some areas such as DRIP and maybe Investment pies which is available in apps such Trading 212. I use T212 as my daily because it offers purchases with cards which is faster and cheaper than wire transfers. So until this option is not available in Baraka I’ll still use T212. But once card payments are allowed I’ll move completely

I had issues topping up my account because i use ENBD and for some reason the transfer was not going through. I was assisted by Iman & it was a smooth process, u received the funds within 2 days thanks to their effort. I have a great experience trading every day, minor lags and delays coz the app is new and it’s understandable. Big thanks to the team for keeping up the good work and im sure it will turn out to be a great app in the future!
