Description

This immersive audio and augmented reality walk brings to life photographer Joseph Owen Curtis' struggle to keep his community intact as Southwest, Washington, D.C. was leveled and rebuilt through a federal program called Urban Renewal in the 1950's. Like a podcast you walk with, the story leads you on a one-hour journey to discover Curtis' stunning photos of "Old Southwest", mid-century utopian architecture, and how race plays into the ways we shape our cities.
