Why paywall the calculator the landing screen?

I don’t understand the need for this new update. The most popular use case for this app is getting a quick calculation done; usually just takes a few seconds. Your extra level of redirection wastes as much time as you’d spend calculating. You should NOT paywall the ability to cache the user’s calculator preference and then load that calculator as the landing page the next time. No user is obligated to keep up with increasingly baffling UX choices — this app is not irreplaceable.

They advertised no ADS as a feature, then added it

I was trying to use the calculator the other day and realised how it doesn’t have a proper history preview. But thought I’ll keep it anyway. But after today’s update of adding ads, I’m out.

3 stars for the app, but lack of proper history takes out two stars for me.
