Today morning I booked a Careem ride from my house in DHA to I I Chundrigar Road. The Captain was a perfect driver and very helpful. At the end of the ride, due to some network issue, he was not able check the total bill and end the ride. He asked me how much was the total showing when I booked the ride. I told him the approx amount. He said to give him Rs. 1000 and the balance he will credit in my wallet once the networks issue is resolved. He left and I went to my office. Since then, he called me around 3 times to update me about the network issue that its still not resolved and if i want the change amount he can come all over to my office again to handover. Out of courtesy I told him No and to keep trying to credit in my wallet. At around 4:40 pm he called again and said that he contacted the Careem office and got the matter resolved and hence had credit the remaining amount in my wallet.
I really appreciated his out of the way help. This was something very rare and unusual in Pakistan where people can go out of their way to help others or at least keep them informed about the problem which we were facing at the time of ending the ride. The Captain should should be appreciated by the company as we need more people like him. Well done ! Keep up the good work !

The most horrible app ever

I had in 2 fays in a row incidents with them the first one is their rider was yelling at me and being so rude just because i asked him a question about the ride i literally said i think yhis is the 5th ride i book is this area busy during this time he was shouting and saying don’t ask me call careem not me i was literally shocked if his reaction .
My friend called careem immediately to complain and the rider started to go really fast i literally felt we will have an accident everytime my friend speaks on the phone with the respresentative he was speeding more and more i was afraid of my life
Second one which made me do this reciew is the careem representative i order a taxi on the app it shows he is there but there was no one i called careem representative he said ride is canceled after i already waited all that time and he said i can arrange for u another ride right now i was okay with that and after ge arrange he did the pickup point somewhere far from me even me i don’t know where is it i called the rider he said im far from the location mentioned which in total i was in the street waiting for literally 55min total i had an important test to do on the time and i ended up arriving late and losing money to rebook it again and time is not on my side i called careem to complain after i took already normal taxi and he offered me same thing rebooking so basically this app just caused me alot of loses on that day and i wouldn’t recomment it at all

Unsatisfactory Customer Service and Rude Taxi Driver

I usually book my taxi and cars in Careem and everything was okay. However today I was so disappointed with what happened during my booking. When i booked the taxi, it showed i have to wait for 6-7 mins, which i patiently waited but the taxi is taking a longer time to come yet I didn’t bother because he was probably stuck in the traffic. Now when i see on the application that the taxi was approaching on my location, the taxi just passed by me on a full speed! So i called the driver, thinking probably he just missed the pinned location, but low and behold the DRIVER WAS RUDELY SCREAMING AT ME WHEN ASKED WHY DID HE JUST PASSED ME BY! He was blaming me when it was his fault he missed the pinned location. He told me to just wait and he will come back, and i have been waiting for this ride for 20 mins, he just suddenly cancelled the ride and didn’t even picked up my call when i was calling him the second time. To my dismay, i reported a problem in careem through the app, and careem just texted me “We’re sorry, just book another ride” Is this how you make ammends with your customer who had unpleasant experience with your driver? No one even bothered to call or at least compensate to what happened? Just sorry and book another ride? I was late with my work for 30 mins because of this. This was a really disapponting! Your driver was rude and i didn’t even get any decent response from your team!
