Like other local and international banks, their apps typically offer settings to control credit limits, stop online transactions, and temporary card blocking, which are essential for protecting against scams. It's surprising that an international bank like Citi hasn't yet included these features in their app. Moreover, it's perplexing that the primary cardholder can't see or manage supplementary cardholders through the app, given that the primary cardholder is ultimately responsible for paying the supplementary cards. Looking forward to this Basic feature.

The app charged me twice for my credit card and left me with hardly anything in my current account … and I was being told by the Citibank representative that sorry we can’t do anything about it as it will take 4 days to return your money … even though they acknowledged it is the the bank and the apps fault that it happened… then again after 4 days when you call them back they say the same thing that it will take 4 working days … the bank in general doesn’t care for you if you aren’t a millionaire… for little people like us they don’t care … it’s interesting that if you need a credit card loan they will transfer it in minutes 🤣🤣 but if you ask to transfer the money they charged you extra from their own mistake … that will take “4 working days “… what an awesome bank!

App seems to be pretty good BUT big minus is no availability of card control. There's no daily nor monthly limit set up option. There is only an option to temporary block the card. PLEASE this is very important. I'm using another apps from ENBD, Mashreq, ADCB and they all have flexible option for card control. You are falling behind. I'm scared of fraud. Implement these card control options on the app. I'm even thinking to close the card due to lack of mentioned options.

I would say being a bank , being transparent should be upmost in terms of design principle. My main problem is the app for some reason don’t show what I am owed for the “current” billing cycle. It only shows the minimum payment due, it used to be shown before but they decided to be less transparent and remove it, so people might “miss” payments. I believe this can be classified as dark UX pattern. To get this information I actually need to find the pdf statement and even in the pdf statement it’s highlighted as secondary information. I must point out I have 4 other bank apps and this one is the only one with this UX problem. Other than that the app is great.

I am using Citi bank credit from almost one year. I am not in UAE these days and I informed Citi bank suppliers about my travel but at least from 1 month I am receiving calls on daily basics. Secondly, I have signed with Citi bank to deduct(full payment) my credit card payment from my another account and they deducted as well I have statement proof for that but still on Citi app I am receiving 1 day over due payment. No chat with us option is in application. I can’t call from another country to the call center and wait for more than 30 mins to my call to be answered and I don’t have time to update my statements and send to Citi bank to correct their records and update the payment.

In other credit card Apps they have the temporary Block card function which i feel all apps of banks should have because of reaching or connecting yo a phone banking agent is very difficult and inconvenient most of the time, this function will be handy incase of lost or stolen card which should be done in seconds. It would simnifically increase the rating of the app and one more thing the rewards points equivalent or value is nowhere to be found it will be helpful as well if it has that feature
