Dubai Health Authority(DHA) has launched a smart application in Dubai, United Arab Emirates that will help you get information about COVID-19 Symptoms, how you can prevent yourself from it and what treatments can be adopted to reduce the risk.
This application will gives you real statistics worldwide and with in United Arab Emirates, this is helping to stop spreading fake stats, counter fake NEWS circulating around people and gives personalized support from designated paramedics incase you’re infected by COVID-19.
A new virus called the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has been identified as the cause of a disease outbreak that began in China in 2019. The disease is called coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The virus is a type of coronavirus — a family of viruses that can cause illnesses such as the common cold, severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS).
Cases of COVID-19 have been reported in a growing number of countries, including the U.S. WHO declared a global pandemic in March 2020. Public health groups, such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), are monitoring the situation and posting updates, treatment and prevention recommendations on their websites.

It’s good for tracking. Also hope you update it for multiple user account for those who are using or registered in the same number especially for families.
I was disappointed with the service . Since yesterday Dec 24, I got tested positive and I called DHA customer support 3x and even sent messages via chat support platform. I requested for a call to be isolated as currently staying in a sharing accommodation Instead they told me to wait after 24hrs and DHA will call back . I have waited until today which is more than 24hrs already knowing that I’m sick but nobody called. I was expecting a faster response but I was wrong . Even my DXBcovid19smart all is not even updated yet hence, they don’t care and not even tracking properly for those who are infected and sick.
This tracking decide is useless. DHA service needs more improvement .
Unheigenic Practice and Non- standard protocol Conducted by the Nurse who took Home Service PCR Test
This is to report the unheigenic practice and non-compliant to the protocol of taking PCR Samples observed to the Home Service PCR test taken by the Nurse who took and brought my samples Freiburg Medical Laboratory Middle East LLC.
The nurse who was sent to take samples of my PCR test at home did not validate my Emirates ID and put tag on my sample swab test, she did not put it inside the tube where we can ensure non-mixing of the result, she just put it inside the plastic along with the 500 bill we paid her for the home service.
After 12 hours the result came and it was pressumptive positve, while my flatmate receive negative which was unexplainable, I have no symptoms, we ate in same plate and everything. I too another PCR from Amer and the result was Not detected, negative, then another PCR after 8 days, and still Negative. Then I took another PCR after 3 days and the result still negative.
What she did caused anxiety and inconvenience to my part.
