They will hassle you over your refunds
I have been a client for sometime and I never took out money from my account. Recently I referred my brother and he got this message when he withdrew that the company will freeze all his money until he meets with them on video and gets recorded “for security purposes” I freaked out and withdrew all my money which led to the same happening to me. I got my money back of course but they stole 30 dollars in ripple and would not refund it. My brother tried to meet with them and get his money but the person in charge muted their mic and turned off the cam leaving my bro alone and without his money. After the meeting timed out the same person replied to my brother telling them they have failed to show up.
I beg you from human to human do not... do not use this platform... they pay people big money to make good trustpilot ratings and AppStore ratings and I had to find that out the hard way and my brother found it out even harder than me. We only had a combined account total of maybe 1000$ yet this company wanted it bad and did not want it out of the platform I suggest that any serious trader to trade elsewhere as the hassle to get your own money back is not worth it.

Videocalls are a procedure that most of major crypro exchanges has started to apply in their practice to ensure that a person who has registered and funded a trading account is an actual card/wallet/ bank account holder and the funds would reach a correct user. We understand it could be quite unusual and frustrating, however, the same procedure has already been in place in the banking sector for a while now, and the crypto industry is aiming to be ahead too. The video call usually goes quite fast, and a client should merely have his/her camera on and present his/her actual ID.
Normally our agents in the video call have their camera off. However, it does sound unusual that an agent has switched the mic off. We would like to look into this further for you. We would appreciate if your brother could send us the details of the call (date, time, user email and your nickname from the review FiwiEo) to feedback@currency.com and we'll investigate to make sure the call has been made up to the required standard.
We would like to reassure you that we do not withhold our clients' funds for any reason and always return money back to our clients. We also understand that the withdrawal procedure may look different and appear more complicated in comparison with other crypto exchanges due to the fact that we are a regulated business and we have to adhere to certain international regulations (Fatf, AML).
