# Disable Screen Dimming
EpocCam automatically dims your device’s display to save power. If you’d prefer to keep an eye on your video preview at all times, you can now disable this behavior. Just tap the gear icon to enter preferences where you’ll find the new Screen Dimming setting.
Ratings and Reviews
Good but doesn’t give full capability
I am using latest Mac OS. Being said that, I cannot use this with full capabilities. I can just use it in zoom, MS Team and Skype but what about if I want to use it other applications or just want to record stuff while gaming. I cannot. Mac cannot recognize it in FaceTime or in any other applications for just recording. Please make it more compatible with Mac.

It’s an amazing app, made me forget about the webcam on my laptop. I didn’t face a problem so far, and I hope I won’t do in the future.

PS: I am located about 4000 miles away from this company, and I don’t work for them. I really truly loved the app.
Disappointed with paid version
i downloaded the free version. hit the rate button to get front-facing cam. all worked fine. connected to pc, worked for OBS, happy.
So. then i decided hey. Let’s go for better quality. Paid for the upgrade. then again had to do the rate thing to get front facing ...:/
Now, phone wont connect to the pc app yet worked 2 mins earlier with the free version... only way to contact is by email - and the email address is not user-friendly or intuitive. ie you cant just click on the email and it opens an email to them. nope. all manual. at least have an online support option....
Disappointed so far. wish I stuck to the free version. that worked at least
Also. it is apparent the ppl who voted 5 are the same ppl or work for the company.
