I used it in North Goa. The tariff is transparent and it is informed to you upfront. Drivers call up to confirm pickup locations. It was easy to get a ride after 11pm as well. In addition to existing features, I would like to see option for hire for the day.

If u expect it to be like Uber or OLA please don’t depend on this app, the taxi drivers are not reliable, and u have to pay while booking the cab not after the ride is completed, and since the drivers are so unreliable u will end up cancelling the ride and pay the cancellation fee which is really unfair because the drivers would do anything for u to cancel the ride.
The app is alright, but the Taxi service itself is horrible. Booked a cab at 22:30 on the 29th of Sept and called the driver to confirm if he is coming or not, he said he will be at my location in 10 minutes. I call him again at 22:45 he says there is too much traffic and I will have to wait another 10 minutes. Then he stops answering my calls for the next 20 minutes and when he finally answers he says another 15 minutes and I can see his location all throughout he basically hasn’t moved even an inch from where he had parked. At this point I understood that he clearly wasn’t interested in this pick up, so I asked him to cancel the ride since he is the one who is delaying so he told me to cancel and since it was already 23:30 I had no other choice but to cancel and pay the cancellation fee which was 70 rupees.
All in all very disappointed with this app and the taxi.

I was asked to download this app when seeking a taxi at Goa airport. It seemed strange especially when hundreds of other cab drivers were waving and shouting right in front of me.

However, I was recommended to use the app so I went with the flow. The app is clear and it worked well taking me straight to my hotel.

But that was the last time I used it! Despite trying many times to use Goa Miles when searching for a cab in North & South Goa; none were ever available. I was also informed by a hotel manager that Goa Miles cabs were not permitted to pick up on Baga’s main street!

Despite being a great idea for travellers, Goa Miles appears to only work when leaving the airport, otherwise it is a waste of time.

Maybe Goa Miles just needs time to gain traction, I wish them all the best.
