Hello, I want to report an issue about switching my learning language. I’m learning French and was doing great actually, but then I went to my learning language in my profile (which is French) and switched it to Turkish because I thought I can select more than 1 language. So then I tried to switch back to French but it told me to wait for 2 days, so I waited for 2 days and tried again but it still didn’t work...can you help me please?

Hello~You can change the language you learn once every 2 days (48 hours).
Becoming VIP member will allow you to add 2 more teach/learn languages from your profile and you can change it anytime you want as well as search all users. For more info, please check from HelloTalk Store.
I really like the app.
I really like the app however, after a while I couldn’t see comments under posts. Not mine or even somebody else’s. So I thought maybe the add needed to be refreshed or something so I uninstalled the app after logging out and re-installed it. But all my data was lost, chats and notifications yet the comment problem still didn’t get solved :( how can I restore the data and solve the comment problem?

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. We have restored the service and everything is back to normal. Please check if you could use the app normally now.
Please note that app data is stored locally in the phone. If you deleted the app and reinstalled it (or change device) without backuping beforehand, you will be able to see your follower/following list and your favorites, but not the chat history.

This app has no standards
Anyone can report you for no reasons maybe for fun. If more than 6 people report someone with no reasons “hellotalk team” suspend your account right away without any investigations.
This is not the first time they did this. A crazy greek girl has been doing this with her friends and hellotalk team never ever do anything yet delete and ban my account.
This time they reported me that I’m a catfish who’s pretending that I’m Korean and living in the UAE and again, they suspended my account right away and ask me verify myself with “VIDEO SELFIE” that I would never do.
If you know what work ethic is, do you job properly. This is very unprofessional
