Payments and transfers - App Crashing
I am disappointed to see that the new App hangs and crashes when I clicked on Confirm for credit card payment through the App...I am using iPhone XR...I thought this was an issue with my phone and tried the old HSBC App and was able to successfully perform the transfer for credit card payments...
Guys, you need to seriously work on fixing performance issues in the new App. Just providing a new look and feel doesn’t resolve usability issues.
Unacceptable Account Closure Process and Poor Customer Support at HSBC
I recently opened an account with HSBC, and within two days of receiving my debit card, I was informed that my account had been temporarily locked due to missing documents required for verification. Unfortunately, I do not possess the documents they requested, and I am unable to provide them as I will be leaving my current employment soon to continue my university studies.
Despite explaining this and exercising my right to request an account closure, HSBC has refused to close the account and has locked or restricted it without offering a clear explanation or solution. This has caused me unnecessary stress, especially as I can no longer meet their requirements and only want to close the account.
I have made it clear that any future fees or charges resulting from their refusal to process my closure request will not be my responsibility. Yet, no actions have been taken to resolve this issue.
The lack of transparency and customer support in this matter is extremely disappointing. I urge HSBC to address these issues promptly and review their account closure policies to better serve customers who are in similar situations. I also intend to escalate this to the relevant authorities if necessary.
The worst customer service and app
This app keeps failing to log me in , have called to customer service and they are saying that I forgot the password which I have not!!! Also my account just became 3200 less and no one knows why! I have talked with customer service representatives many times and still no one has a clue and saying that maybe the transaction was blocked and the merchant claimed which does not make sense because if we do preauthorization the money is already blocked and you ca not use and its immediate deduction from your account and now they are saying that the message was wrong I was not charged but if you add up all spendings there is missing money!!! I mean how dump you have to be!!! I don’t trust this bank and gonna close down my account and what’s worst I’m not sure if I could get my money back
