Laundryheap: On-Demand Laundry 4+

Overall, I received the order in a timely manner and each item was individually neatly folded in plastic. When I had questions in the beginning about pricing, some items were not present in their list. Firstly, the Laundryheap staff presented me the pricing before proceeding with the order. They were always responsive on all my queries. And always found the solution for my requests.

So here’s the deal.. if anyone would to go straight to the source and get their laundry picked up and dropped off directly through the service provider, the service would cost alot less, maybe half of what this platform is charging. However I chose to go through this and pay the additional fees for ease of doing business especially when something goes wrong. Last week a few of my items were picked up for dry clean and when brought back I discovered that one of the items still had the exact stain on after I received it back and it wasn’t cleaned properly. I went to let Laundryheap know thinking they’ll arrange for the item to b picked up and cleaned properly. Instead they offered to have the item picked up for inspection and to confirm whether this is a new stain or an old one and then decide whether to clean it or not. Anyhow sorry for the long review. But my advise go straight to the source, it’ll cost much less and you will get better resolutions in similar situations.

I sent a duvet that was white to be serviced, it was returned PINK. I informed to kindly fix it, so they took it back for several days then returned it in the same condition claiming that it was fixed. So to recap they charged AED 42 for the duvet plus AED 8 to meet the minimum charge to ruin my duvet, waste my time and then lie to me!!

To make matters worse, after the issue was escalated, I received any email asking me to send more pictures of the duvet and my service receipt and ridiculous question if I packed a pink shirt with the duvet! You own the APP and can see all the history of the client and conversations, use it and please do not play dumb, it is sad and unprofessional!

I packed my green skirt and blue shirt separately and it seems to me that they wash duvets with pink shirts?!! So incompetent and instead of showing remorse or at least refunding the hefty fee they charged me, they are playing detective and asking for more proof to wear me down. Well, I rarely take the time to write a bad review but you earned it! Worse service ever
