Best customer service!

I encountered the problem of not being able to activate my card. It was frustrating at first, I even went to a branch of Emirates NBD bank for clarification but was then informed that they didn’t handle Liv problems. I chatted with Liv chatbot and received a reply in 30 minutes. However, the next day I received a call from the worker I talked with at the bank, saying that I would receive another call from Liv about my problem. Then the very next day I did and my card was successfully activated with no hassle!
Since Liv is new and surely requires lots of improvement, I think we should be more understanding and patient with their situation, taking into consideration that they are also doing their best to help us.

Worst customer service ever in the whole world

Been using this account since 2018. It’s all fine until you need a “stamped bank statement.” The basics of basic! I requested two different dates. Instead, I received two copies of the same date! I got charged for two different dates though. When tried to report, there is no way you could file a complaint. No bank, no customer service, nothing. More than 1 week behind this issue with request via email and chatbot been sent every single day. And they finally accepted the mistake. But when asked for the solution to fix this issue, they need more than a month’s time! A mistake from their side and I have to bear the consequences?! The worst bank ever. I started a similar account with ADCB Hayyak, zero balance account. And guess what? They have actual approachable bank and people! They give you credit card and cheque if you got good ratings. Overall, ADCB is thousand times better than this Liv. I hope anyone trying to start this account, rethink and make the right decision since both are free accounts, ADCB Hayyak has more class and better products than Liv.

You can thank me later. Cheers. And by the way, I am still waiting for the solution for my issue. I will be updating this review once I get the right stamped statement this time. I really hope so.

Unethical

I opened this account through my university in 2018. They lured me in with their no min balance and no maintenance charges. All these years I was never charged anything and never had to keep a min balance. But recently when I opened the app, I noticed something called “Price Plan”. I didn’t meet any of their salary transfer or spending conditions. Forget meet, I didn’t even know about this. When I approached their incompetent chat service to clarify , they said if I don’t want to be charged for June I should meet all the requirements. How will I meet? Can they give me a job in this useless economy? They sent a billion irrelevant emails throughout these two years but didn’t even inform ONCE that the price plan had changed and how it would affect students who had opened the account in 2018, graduated with no jobs and were in no way obliged to open the Liv app everyday to check for updates. There is a reason we give you our emails- to inform important changes. Apparently the service was free till I was 23. But even after I turned 24, they never brought up the price plan. Now when I interned to close my account, they have suddenly woken up about THEIR price plan, (when I REMINDED them of it)and want to charge me for June. As a customer, I and all my friends who opened this account together have full right to file for malpractice. Not cool Liv, not cool.
