Review - I had a horrific experience at the PRINCE DE GALLES . 1) The the coffee cups and glasses ( the day prior ) where dirty till 3 .30 pm and all not changed. Upon arrival to my room I call reception for service.2) Whilst on the phone , a guy just walks In while i was undressed, I was so startled ( he was coming to check the mini bar). He rang the bell and entered without instruction. This was highly disturbing for me. I am from the Middle East and we don’t take this lightly.
I was reassured when called and told they are sending someone up. However the manager for housekeeping came to apologize for the weak service.. Not for the embarrassment .
My 5 stars is for the app And for Marriot. This hotel will a huge disappointment.
Email links are not accessible from the app
I've encountered a notable limitation within the app that impacts the user experience significantly.
Whenever a user selects an 'Email us' link - such as the one in the ambassador section - the app defaults to opening Apple Mail. This functionality assumes that all users utilize Apple Mail, which isn't always the case. For those of us who use different email clients, this presents a problem. The email address behind the 'Email us' button isn't displayed, and if Apple Mail isn't configured on our iPhones, we're left with no alternative but to view the Apple Mail welcome screen.
This limitation not only disrupts the user experience but also effectively hinders direct communication with the service team via email. I believe addressing this issue would greatly enhance the app's usability and customer interaction. I hope to see an improvement in this area in future updates.
Excellent App and Amazing support team
I’ve been using this Application since 2014 fir all my booking inside UAE and world wide, customer support team is really helpful and give the excellent advise incase of any issues which is minor in most if the cases , I received many upgrades and free drink, access to lounges ,and special welcoming gifts whenever i am visiting. I advised really to try this SPG loyalty membership to get many benefits accordingly.
