McDonald's 4+‎

I got my order after 45 mins of ordering. The delivery guy confessed that the con chili fries has no sauce as he forgot it. So I simply told him that it’s fine, you can take it back and simply deduct it. He refused, he said that he will get the sauce on the next delivery, ie after I finish eating. So what am I supposed to do? Feed the fries in the night to the birds? I tried to convince him that I’m a good tipper and that he simply has to cancel it. He refused unless he gets back the entire order! He called two times to his supervisors whom could not do anything about it. So I simply had to return the order! The entire hassle took me 15 mins on the door and over 10 more mins calling the call center myself and asking what is going on!!

This is a preprocessed food! So if it gets cold, it’s better not taken, so I listened to what he wanted and returned the order.

I would order McDonald’s more often if you were on Deliveroo, the UX of this app is horrible. It can’t get my address right, and there is no way of manually overriding the address. It keeps telling me that I live in district 2 when I place the gps cursor, but I live in district 3... With no possibility for me to manually correct apart from writing it in the free text field, there is a 50/50 I am getting cold burgers and an upset driver. Also… I have to put my CC number? It’s 2021, please enable Apple Pay 🙄 and why is the menu always defaulting to adding a coke, then you actively need to change it..? Just let us pick while we add the menu please

I’ll be honest this app actually makes me buy McDonalds more, just cause of the app’s mere presence in your phone, if you catch a glimpse of its iconic logo makes you day dream of your favorite meal- making you mouth water in the thought of consuming such delicious goodies. And after opening the app you’re confronted with hard to resist offers which in turn makes me concede to its corporate schemes. Anyways the order as pickup feature really good too for introverts, makes the whole human interaction unnecessary
