MedAire’s Aviation App provides the next level of Travel Risk Management resources, tools and information for flight and aviation security departments to help assess and mitigate travel and safety risks for upcoming trips.
When an in-flight medical issue arises the in-flight patient assessment tool expedites patient care; assists with patient assessment and includes the capability to transmit vital sign data to MedLink. The app’s integrated Medical Kit feature lets MedLink know what items you have onboard your aircraft and notifies users when kits need refurbishment.
Alert push notifications for health and safety risks make users aware of situations that may impact operations and itineraries. Alerts include items such as pandemic/disease outbreaks, civil unrest, and natural disasters and are provide actionable advice.
Aviation Travel Security Briefs provide an overview of medical and security considerations in the vicinity of the airport; Airspace Assessments give an overview of threats in a country’s airspace. Both give advice to mitigate exposure to those threats and may be downloaded and emailed through the app.
MedAire Members have one-click access to contact information for MedLink, MedAire’s 24/7 global response centre that provides in-flight and ground-based medical advice and assistance.
