Great, versatile smart lock

App control is quick, user invitation works flawlessly. I’ve added two Nuki locks and one Nuki bridge to my home and I’m able to control both of them via the app as long as I have an internet connection on my phone

Great with one big miss

I like the lock and the app. They work well together and have all the options and settings I can wish for.
There is one big point that I would really want to see improved:
Since the batteries only last for a few weeks (I am using 2800mAh Lithium ion cells), and sometimes I am away for weeks too (holidays, business trip), knowing and managing battery life is essential to me.
I would really like the following features:
+ See battery charge level on the first main view of the app
+ See the remaining battery charge in estimated days (based on past usage) on the first main view of the app
+ receive a notification on my phone and optionally via email about critical battery level (when the remaining charge is estimated to last less than 3 days)

I love it, but ..

I love my Nuki lock and I love how customizable it can be through the app, but there’s just a couple of things that made it very difficult to love.
For starters, whenever I try unlocking using the app 80% of times its “offline” and won’t work (Nuki bridge installed very near)
It also makes a loud noise whenever I lock or unlock it, I use my keys at later times to avoid disturbing my next door neighbors.
The keypad looks and feels nice but it’s very slow, after inputting, I have to wait a couple of good seconds before it unlocks the door, it’s also slow to respond, I have to press the numbers firmly and slowly for it not to miss any numbers.

I really hope you fix these issues, which are mostly software related, looking forward for your next update :)

Hello and thank you for your feedback!
It sounds like the problem might be the connection with your Nuki Bridge.
Please test the connection again by putting the Bridge directly in front of the Smart Lock and please repeat the pairing between Bridge and Smart Lock again.
Please, check the connection in the Nuki App. For this, go to the Settings of the Smart Lock and select "Connection Status".If the connection line is colored, you can click on the info-screen and tap on "Disconnect Bridge".
Following, try again the connection process.
If this doesn't help to stabilize the connection please contact our support team under contact@nuki.io
Certain materials of the door can affect the connection between Keypad and Smart Lock.
To check if that's the issue you can try to use the Keypad from the inside. If the communication is faster there, then it might be the connection and you could try a different positioning.
