not working, too slow, no instructions

it took forever to download some items and videos from my samsung phone to my macbook. When it finally downloaded, I searched for the files I downloaded everywhere and I even used Spotlight. There wereno further instructions on how to use the app so I was left kinda like... "So what now?"

Cause I already deleted the videos from the Smasung so I pray the videos are still out there somewhere...
