Spinneys Grocery Delivery UAE 4+

Very slow

Very slow app. To add products to cart takes long and to finally pay on checkout takes forever. It’s been 1/2 an hour and the loading circle is still spinning. Don’t know if my order has gone through or not. Whether to order from elsewhere or not.
Won’t be using it again.

Thanks for the review. Apologise for that rare slow down happened from our server and since the time reported, we upgraded the server and App is much faster and smoother.

The app needs some improvement

The app is pretty alright, but for some reason when I “heart” a product while on list of products I lose my place and have to scroll down , to avoid that I have to click on product and then like it so I can add it to my shopping list & then press back so I go back to wherever I was with the list.
As for shopping list, I added 88 items I wanted to try, now that I click on the list there’s only 10 items, but when I get out it repeats that there’s 88, so that needs fixing too. Some products don’t show the size or grams, or ingredients but besides that it’s pretty good. I know it was rushed cause of COVID , these are minor things to be fixed

Once more a disappointing experience

I have rated this app before and 2 months later rating remains as bad. The app lacks a ease of use, ease of search and no contact details in case of follow up. Just passed an order for which seemingly the payment did not go though to Spinneys but for me the payment process was completed - no notification received from the app side that the payment did not go through and after waiting the whole day for the delivery I learnt that it was cancelled. 20 mins of calls ensued to several Spinneys branches to find out who dispatches the orders only to be told sorry the payment was not received and order cancelled. All this with not notification to the customer. Shame for such a pathetic app !
