Switched over from Wunderlist...wow this superb.

I’ve been using the Wunderlist app for quite awhile (~2-3yrs) and it’s been useful for task tracking. The challenge over the last couple year has been that the development and improvement to app basically died since the acquisition by Microsoft. I searched around to find a suitable alternative and after much digging found that the Todoist app was the preferred solution that most people were talking about.

Migrating from one task management app to the other does have its pains (I did this manually) but the value was instantaneous. Todoist is so intuitive to use. Really easy to setup various types of tasks and you can see that a lot of thinking has gone into the design and functionality. I’m extending my paid subscription; no longer looking for anything else now. This is it!

Very helpful lists app

I have been using Todoist for some time and it is proving to be increasingly useful, as I am now able to access my Todoist lists using the app and widgets on my iPhone, the app and widgets on my iPad and through browsers on my computer and laptop. There is lots of functionality and it is pretty intuitive.

Hit & Miss for me

I loved the Wunderlist app & was sad to see it go. I swore off such apps since then because I couldn’t find anything that worked for me.
Recently, I just have Todoist a try & I love that it’s similar to Wunderlist some ways. But features that I found most useful aren’t there; being able to set a reminder with a date + time, in addition to the due date & receiving these reminders on my phone. I scoured through this app but I couldn’t find anyway to receive mobile notifications rather than email ones. Wouldn’t not being notified on my phone defeat the entire purpose of such an app? I really wanted to use this app & like it but I’m still forgetting or missing tasks.
