Solid application

All what you need to manage your DECO devices is managed within the application, even scheduled reboots and device updates.

Powerful network scanner with embedded security application (paid subscription when trial period ends).

The application is accessible from anywhere, giving that you have internet connection.

Cons and Pros

Pro
-WiFi signal is perfect and performance is great
-setup is really easy and app is very friendly
- strongly recommended for home users who wants to have visibility on their homes and kids as well as want to make a single WiFi network across the whole house
- free antivirus
- control your network remotely from anywhere outside your home

Cons
- I can’t add photos to the device to identify my kids devices with their photos
- I can see only instantaneous device utilization but not the historical device utilization individually
- as a work around I have to create a separate profile for every device which is it scalable in case I have lots of devices
- if I see excessive app usage, I can’t identify which device cause this high usage to block it individually
- firewall blocking sometimes doesn’t fully block the app ( in case of Facebook and WhatsApp it blocks the page but not the app )
- no POE support
- no dashboard access from computer only through app

Powered up and deco joined mesh network

Deco mobile app helped getting started with the new deco which I adding to an existing mesh network. After powering up and asking app to scan around for the new device, the pairing process finished within few seconds! Pretty seamless!
