Hello All! I just returned from Cairo, Egypt with my 74yr old mother. I ran into problems with our booking, but I’m thankful that Ahmed Aboulilah was the Reservation Manager at the front desk during our check in. Ahmed went ABOVE AND BEYOND the call of duty to make sure that mother and I were booked at the same hotel!!! Ahmed not only sorted out my hotel booking problem but he did it sooo graciously & with a smile! Ahmed ensured that our stay at Le Meriden Cairo Airport was pleasant. Thank you SO much Ahmed Aboulilah!!! Ahmed, Mother and I TRULY appreciated your help! Also, Evon in the EVOO Restaurant was ever ready to refresh our coffee at breakfast and helped us practice our Arabic. Keep smiling Evon! Mohamed in Housekeeping helped to keep our rooms refreshed and clean. Thank you Mohamed! Also, Lovna thank you for your kindness to us when we ordered room service! I could hear you smiling over the telephone when you talked with us to order room service for breakfast. Thank you Lovna! From the gentleman who pushed mother’s wheelchair from the hotel to the airport terminal to all of the persons in the restaurant...There are many people who were kind to mother and me during our stay at Le Meridian Cairo Egypt Airport Hotel...thank you ALL for helping us to have a pleasant stay!

Cairo with kids? YES......with Manar! Our 48hrs with Manar was a memory we and our 3 children (8, 10 & 12yrs) will have forever. Manar’s in depth knowledge and passion for her country shines through and made for a tour full of engaging information and fabulous detail wrapped with fun and laughter with a backdrop of Pyramids that I still reflect upon as just utterly remarkable. Accepting of what we wanted from our schedule, considerate of practical needs when traveling with children, warm and just lovely....Manar took the time to make our pyramid tour and exploration, Papyrus, essential oil store, local dinner and pyramid sound & light show (day 1) so engrossing and perfectly paced. On our second day we thoroughly enjoyed letting Manar’s knowledge guide us skillfully through the vast collections housed in the Egyptian Museum followed by a relaxing lunch on the Nile. Manar’s recommendations for occasional extra cost attractions (Mummy rooms) were always spot on and kept the kids totally engrossed. All five of us loved our time and different conversations with Manar about what we were seeing and an entire range of other subjects. Absolute star. Lisa & Family, Kiwis in Dubai �

We stayed in this property as a family, hiring three cottages and stayed for three days I belong to the same town where the property is situated so never had an opportunity to stay there though had meals there several times But this time the effect was magical. The entire place is looked after so well with the proper impeccable supervision from Mr Saneej, who heads the hotel. The house keeping, the food ( the exemplary service rendered by Suresh, Nabarun Dutta and an Assamese boy who enriched us with tales from Kali temple. It was infact a wonderful experience, staying together as a family along with our pet dog . Feeding of geese was another great activity and after nearly 45 years I discovered that my cycling skills are still in tact! Getting up in the morning facing the huge lotus pond is a mystical experience. I wish Mr Saneej and his team all the very best
