It’s not an update but DOWNGRADE!
I have loved Waze for several years. But the recent “update” totally killed the purpose of the app and made it useless. I wish I can downgrade it back, as the current version is ridiculous.
Living in Dubai with crazy traffic you need to know not just where to “keep left” but exactly which of the five possible lefts to keep. Now as the app doesn’t announce the street names (and obviously I cannot look at it all the time) it became useless, more annoying than helpful.
SO FRUSTRATED by the change. Bring the good old version back!!!
Best App
It’s been over a year I am using Waze and I am just addicted to it, it’s simple interface, faster traffic calculator and more importantly it’s accuracy and reliability never lets you down, some of the best features are “traffic camera reported ahead” and “police reported ahead”. I have recommended Waze to almost all my friends and everyone is addicted to it. Cheers good work...👍👍😃😃
Give me what i want
If I'm choosing route 1 out of the 3 others, it means I WANT to be taken there 😑. Not for you to decide on your own another route and force me to use that route 😂😂. It's the powerlessness that I have with your app that's so frustrating. Imagine I hire a human being to sit next to me and ask him to take me to the destination using a route 1. He says yes, and then without informing, proceeds to change the route in his mind, no communication at all. What would you think? I'm making a choice to use this route over the others and that means, I want to be shown this route only. I hope that the smug "know it all" that made the assumption that s/he knew more than the user using the app reads this review.
