Starting from the looks, the whole application is a clone of August.
Exactly the same.
Which is not bad from one side as the whole UI feels known and I was able to navigate around the menu without any issues.
The downside is that this implementation of the application crashes EVERY time I try to use it.
If you exit the application without forcing it to close (iOS swipe up and kill the process) once you try to restore the application from the background that’s it. Boom.
Auto Unlock does not simply work.
I have the application with the appropriate permissions in two phones (iPhone 14 Pro Max fully updated and patched) with two different users.
We both approach the door carrying groceries and look at each other, lost waiting for the door to open..

The hardware is nice however. Much more sturdy that august and easier to install.

If they fixed the application or at least provide recommended configurations on phone settings to make sure background refresh is working etc it would be even better.

Until then I will keep trying different scenarios until I figure out which use case will work. After a month of attempts I am one step closer to accept defeat. I will not give up though.

App has not been working on Data Connection. Unable to remotely open or close the door and someone has to be at home when my children return from school. More than a couple of times, I had to drive/travel several hours to open the door and let my relative & guest enter home. Extremely unsatisfied as I rely on this feature on day to day basis. I heard the issue is being faced by others who I recommended the lock.
